Jurgen Mantzke: Authorize.net Animation

Jurgen Mantzke recently created an animation which runs at the beginning of sponsored podcasts and webinars. Authorize.net works to approve and authenticate credit card transactions for ecommerce. This animation is intended to promote their new developer tools.

Jurgen created a "developer" building the logo from actual credit cards. The camera angle zooms out to reveal the whole structure. When the figure snaps his fingers, a card flip reveals the cleaner and sharper logo. Subsequent snaps and card flips reveal the message. “I created this in much the same way I create my two dimensional editorial illustration, but assembled it as a narrative in Flash,” says Jurgen.
