As reported in February, Jacob Thomas created surf-themed artwork for cult beer brand Pacifico. The illustration has finally been translated onto a reconditioned 1959 VW bus for use as a delivery vehicle / conversation piece.

Dave Plunkert’s huge portrait of Vladimir Putin ran in the NY Times Week in Review section Sunday. It was also picked up as a below the fold teaser on the front page. The story draft was supplied to me Thursday evening and a final was competed by Friday end of day.

The Op-Ed page of the New York Times has a way of bringing out the very best in an illustrator. This deceptively pretty, but deeply disturbing image by Ronald J. Cala II is no exception.
One of the world's most respected distillers, William Grant & Sons, has commissioned a series of illustrations from Jonathan Williams to help build an identity for a new triple malt whiskey called Monkey Shoulder.
