Deb Lucke: The Boy Who Wouldn’t Swim


Just in time for summer reading, Deb Lucke has come out with another great book!

“Eric Dooley would not swim. Even though it was so, so, SO hot and everybody else was in the pool. Everybody including his little sister, who wasn’t afraid of the water at all. Underneath his sunblock, Eric was green with envy. Not the mention sweaty. And irritated.

Einat Peled: Manta Ray

For the past year, Israeli artist Einat Peled has been involved in a dream job. She was tapped to create drawings for a book celebrating the 10th anniversary of Manta Ray, one of the hottest waterfront restaurants in Tel Aviv. The book, which was written and photographed by Manta Ray’s owners, Ofra and Avi Ganor and designed by Michal Suday, is part cookbook, part art book, part travelogue, part love letter to the sea and sun.
